How long have you been established?
We are a new company but our Founders are well known personalities in the local community. Jason specialises in building and Handyman services and Callum as a business professional, cutting his recent teeth on barclayanderson.com.
Why are you called ToolFellows?
You like the name? We’re Fellows with Tools. We’re not that complicated really

How much does your service cost?
£15 per half-hour. Evenings and Weekends, add £5 per half hour.
Does this include materials?
Most customers use us as a labour service, but we will shop for parts for you if like. We add 10% mark-up to parts we supply to reflect the fact that we are using our vehicles and fuel to do this.
So , you’ll have all the right tools?
You bet. We love tools. Can’t get enough of them. We carry a huge range to tackle a massive number of different jobs. We also carry a large selection of screws, nails, wall plugs, plumbing connections and so on.
Will you quote me for a job?
One of the reasons we are so ecconomical is that we don’t have a man running around quoting for jobs, only accepting the big meaty ones that are worth lots of money. We do it the other way around. In the main, we can tell you roughly how long a job will take. And we’re pretty fast, so if you think a job will take about 3 hours, we can probably do it in 90 minutes. If it is clearly going to take a lot longer than expected, and you decide not to go ahead, we’ll part company as friends but ask you to recommend us to someone else!
Are you insured?
Yes, we carry £2m of public liability insurance.
How quickly can you come out?
Although we do have an emergency service, most of the work is booked in advance, normally between 2 and 5 days ahead of schedule. We can squeeze small jobs and emergency repairs in. Just call!
Do you work weekends?
Yes; for Saturdays and Sundays, add £5 per half-hour
What is your normal working hours?
Our working hours are between 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday. We can do jobs in the evening or on Saturdays for an additional £5 per half hour.
Do you have any Gas Safe (was CORGI) registered engineers?
No. We employ general handymen, who can all do a wide range of jobs, however we have arrangements with Gas qualified engineers if we need to. It’s worth a call.
Do you have any accredited and qualified electricians?
Yes, but we limit our electrical work to small jobs.
Are you a member of any trade association or guild?
Beware. Most trade associations or guilds will sell anyone a membership logo for an annual fee, providing a thin veneer of respectability for their members. We have chosen to save your money and stick with the high quality that you know. In any case, we have our Money-Back-Guarantee.
What is the Money-Back-Guarantee?
Simple. You don’t like what we’ve done? Don’t pay. Not a penny.
How do you know that the handymen you employ are reliable?
All our Fellows are properly trained, tidy and professional. We don’t know what happens to the people who don’t make the grade and don’t work for us…!
Will I have to wait in all day for your handyman to show up?
No – we give specific time-slots in which we aim to arrive. We’ll call you if we can come early.
How big a job can you take on?
Ideally, those jobs between an hour and a day and a half. Jobs bigger than say 3 days normally are not strictly a handyman job. You may need to get contractors. If in doubt, call us.
How can I pay?
Cash, cheque, credit card or debit card.
Do you do office work?
Oh yes. Companies use us to take care of their everyday maintenance requirements. All we ask is that invoices are paid within 14 days. We can also do once-a-week contracts. Call to discuss discounts.
I’m a Landlord and I need special help.
Great! We’ll work for you too. Call for credit terms.
